Shorter Form Credentials (SFCs)

Upskill or extend your knowledge with the Science of Learning in Practice SFC suite which offers you the opportunity to build your knowledge and skill in the science of learning. With your choice of module, you can learn how to lead science of learning in professional learning communities, and how to apply and evaluate it in real-world, educational practice.

What is a Shorter Form Credential?

A Shorter Form Credential (SFC) is a distinct unit of study with academically assessed learning outcomes, generally offered outside an award program, and usually completed in a short time frame (i.e. months rather than years). Our SFCs are valuable for educators who want to develop a deeper understanding and expertise in a particular topic of interest to their educational context.

Learn new skills in a flexible and affordable way via our MOOC that attracts hundreds of thousands of learners around the world, has no admissions barrier and is fully online.

Deep learning through transformative pedagogy

This education course has been developed for educators and education leaders. It explores deep learning by bringing together the most up-to-date research from cognitive psychology, contemporary educational theories, and neuro-scientific perspectives.
