Upskill or extend your knowledge with the Science of Learning in Practice SFC suite which offers you the opportunity to build your knowledge and skill in the science of learning. With your choice of module, you can learn how to lead science of learning in professional learning communities, and how to apply and evaluate it in real-world, educational practice.

Module 1 - Multidisciplinary Lens on Learning

Learn more about the current research around neuroscience, psychology and education, and how it can be used to inform learning and teaching.

Module 2 - Diving Deep into the Science of Learning in Practice

An introduction to the science of learning and hear from educators about how they have drawn on research to inform teaching, learning and leading in their practice.

Module 3 - Research Design: Applying and Evaluating the Science of Learning in practice

Gain insight into how research is conducted in the science of learning, and develop skills for using and communicating research and evidence-informed practices in your context.

Module 4 - Leading the Science of Learning in Practice

Gain an understanding of some key principles of the science of learning, and how they can effectively lead others to engage with and apply these principles in their practice.

What is a Shorter Form Credential?

A Shorter Form Credential (SFC) is a distinct unit of study with academically assessed learning outcomes, generally offered outside an award program, and usually completed in a short time frame (i.e. months rather than years). Our SFCs are valuable for educators who want to develop a deeper understanding and expertise in a particular topic of interest to their educational context.
