Biography

As a late-stage PhD candidate, Casual Academic for the School of Psychology and Research Assistant for the Learning Lab,  I am fully immersed in the exciting world of cognitive science and learning design. My research primarily explores how people tap into intuition, analysis, and insight during problem-solving. My aim is to bridge my broader expertise in human rationality (and irrationality) with my passion for teaching and learning design. Driven by an evidence-based approach, I integrate the latest findings from cognitive science and educational psychology into my work. I'm also passionate about the transformative potential of AI technologies, particularly how they can streamline processes, promote fairer decision-making, and enhance learning. Balancing the best of human intuition and reasoning with the cutting-edge capabilities of AI is a key goal of mine. In this era of rapid digital advancement, I'm committed to creating learning environments that are not only engaging and inclusive, but also future-focused.
